The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco, led by Consul General Neil Ferrer and Madame Miriam Ferrer, attended the 37th anniversary gala and fashion show of charity organization Philippine International Aid at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco on 29 October 2023.
The annual event featured a fashion show of PamPinay, a modern Filipiniana clothing brand that aims to introduce Filipino fashion — made by local artisans in developing communities in the Philippines- to a global audience, and with a commitment to sustainable fashion and the circular economy.
The event also serves as a fundraiser to support the PIA’s “Off the Streets, Off to School” scholarship program, which provides educational assistance to Filipino students for just US$150.00 a year per student. (Rey del Fierro photos)
