Daly City, CA (March 11, 2024) – On March 11, 2024, Mayor Juslyn C. Manalo held an Ordinance Signing Ceremony in her office, alongside Vice Mayor Dr. Roderick Daus-Magbual, City staff, the Jefferson Union High School District Board, Superintendent and Deputy Superintendent, Nor Cal Carpenters Union, San Mateo County Building Trades Council, and the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) Local 1481.
“Codifying the Jefferson Union High School District (JUHSD) Serramonte Del Rey Campus Redevelopment Project is a special moment that needed to be celebrated with all of the project partners and staff,” said Mayor Juslyn C. Manalo. “This project will provide super hyper-local jobs with competitive wages and health care benefits for our laborers. Approving this project was a monumental moment in Daly City history and would not be a reality if not for the commitment to partnership.”
