LAS VEGAS, Nevada — The Las Vegas Raiders are back in the winning seat with a 30-6 win over the New York Giants. Interim head coach Antonio Pierce got his first Raiders win against his old team.
The Raiders offense was led by rookie quarterback Aidan O’Connell. He made his second career start for the Raiders offense. He finished the game, throwing 16 completions on 25 attempts for a 209 total passing yards.
Josh Jacobs rushed for 98 yards and two touchdowns, his best of the season and shined against the Giants.
Nothing game-stopping but the rookie quarterback did not make any mistake and made key throws.
The Raiders defense had their overall best defensive performance of the season.
Defensive end Maxx Crosby was one of the key defensive players that led the way. Crosby yet again showed that he is one of the best defensive ends in all of National Football League.
The Raiders truly looked like a new team and that could make the second half of the season exciting for everyone involved with the franchise.
The Silver and Black will stay at Allegiant Stadium to take on the New York Jets on Sunday night.
