”Our Sentimental Journey: A Celebration of Filipino American History Month” with The Alvarado Project at the historic Presidio Tunnel Tops in San Francisco commemorated last October 5 the 80th Anniversary of the Battle of Leyte Gulf, highlighting the sacrifices of Filipino, American, and Allied soldiers and civilians, as well as the contributions of first-generation Filipino immigrants, seen through the work of photographer Ricardo Ocreto Alvarado.
