As part of continuing efforts to expand and deepen its engagements with the Filipino diaspora, the Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco invites all citizens of the Philippines who are students and alumni of higher education institutions under its jurisdiction to register online with the Consulate.
This covers Filipino citizens who are currently enrolled in or have graduated from a certificate, associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s or doctor’s degree program in a college or university under the Consulate‘s jurisdiction — which includes Alaska, Northern and Central California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Northern Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington State, and Wyoming.
This online registration effort will help the Philippine Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) in crafting policies and programs that will advance the welfare and well-being of Filipino students while studying abroad, including orientations and other information dissemination activities that will make them better equipped in their new environments. This effort will also guide the Consulate in coming up with events and projects that will cater to Filipino students under its consular jurisdiction.
Detailed information collected from the online registration effort will remain confidential and will be protected under Philippine Republic Act No. 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012).
