
The Philippine Consulate in San Francisco attended a panel discussion on Indo-Pacific security, titled “Consuls General on Indo-Pacific Security and the QUAD: Updates & Analysis” on 11 February 2025 held at the Silicon Valley Bank Experience Center. The event was hosted by the Asia Society Northern California with the panel consisting of the Consuls General of Australia, India, and Japan.
The panel discussion, moderated by Dr. Vinnie Aggarwal, a distinguished professor in UC Berkeley, centered on the role and future trajectory of the QUAD in the Indo-Pacific region. The Consuls General from the QUAD economies affirmed the grouping’s shared goal which is maintaining stability and continuing to promote economic resilience in the region.
