In a bid to strengthen the 1343 Actionline Against Human Trafficking of the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO), PLDT Global now enables free calls to the hotline for Filipinos overseas through the Tindahan ni Bossing (TinBo) app.
PLDT Global Chief Operating Officer Edith Gomez-Cudiamat said during the second episode of The Chairman’s Report hosted by CFO Secretary Dante “Klink” Ang II, “This is the pride of PLDT Global because there is no company right now that is servicing the global Filipino that provides this free access through the helpline that we have which is 1343.”

Cudiamat explained that TinBo was created to address the daily needs and requirements of the 10.6 million global Filipinos, while reconnecting them to their loved ones in the Philippines through an integrated and accessible digital platform.
“What we would like to provide to our migrants overseas is for them not to be bothered with sending one time big time support, what we wanted them to do is to be involved in the daily requirements of their families back home,” she said.
Previously, the 1343 Actionline was accessible nationwide in the Philippines for free through the services of Dynamic Outsource Solutions Inc.(DOS1); however, overseas callers were subject to international call rates when seeking assistance. With its recent integration into PLDT Global’s TinBo app, the 1343 Actionline is now free for Filipinos abroad, eliminating cost barriers and significantly expanding the reach of anti-human trafficking services to global Filipino communities.
Access to the 1343 Actionline via TinBo is made possible through the Smart Virtual Number (SVN) technology, which provides every overseas Filipino with a mobile digital identity. Through this system, users can register and access TinBo’s wide range of services, from calling the hotline to settling utility bills, purchasing food vouchers, and sending day-to-day support to their families back home.
The CFO manages the 1343 Actionline Against Human Trafficking as part of its mandate under the Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (IACAT), where it serves as chair of the Advocacy and Communications Committee (ADVOCOM). In this role, the CFO monitors nationwide efforts to raise awareness and mobilize public support against trafficking, while also coordinating with service providers such as DOS1, the company that provides technical support to the operations of 1343 actionline.
This effort to expand the 1343 hotline’s accessibility aligns with President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s Bagong Pilipinas vision, which promotes a whole-of-nation approach centered on unity, inclusivity, and modernization. By empowering overseas Filipinos with free, direct access to assistance, the partnership between PLDT Global and CFO reflects the government’s broader mission to harness the full potential of every Filipino—wherever they are in the world.
As the international arm of the PLDT Group, PLDT Global is focused on extending digital and telecommunications services to Filipinos abroad, as well as companies and organizations looking to connect with the Philippine market. Its solutions serve not only global Filipinos but also businesses such as BPOs and hyperscalers aiming to expand their reach across borders. Meanwhile, the CFO continues to safeguard the rights and welfare of Filipino migrants while promoting their active role in Philippine development.
Together, PLDT Global and the CFO are ensuring that every Filipino, regardless of distance, can stay connected, protected, and engaged in building a better future for themselves and for the country.
