PALO ALTO – California Berkeley defeated Stanford 27-15 at the 126th Big Game on Saturday at a sold-out Stanford Stadium.
The Bears are now Big Game-worthy for the third consecutive season and can be eligible for a bowl if they beat UCLA next Saturday night in Pasadena.
The Cardinals played lousy for much of the 126th Big Game, racking up nine penalties for 88 yards and managing only one touchdown in the second half of the game.
The Stanford AXE will stay in Berkeley for another year.
