My highlight for today is about all the Filipinos and Filipino Americans in the US who have estate holdings in the Philippines. The Philippine Estate Tax Amnesty, valid until June 14, 2025, could offer affected families and businesses significant savings. The San Francisco Filipino American Chamber of Commerce is hosting an “Estate Tax Amnesty Webinar” on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. PDT. Register for this zoom webinar at https://lu.ma/c5qo5439.

Here’s the information you can expect from attending this online seminar:

  • Reduced Tax Burden: Understand how the amnesty program can lower your estate tax liabilities.
  • Simplified Process: Learn about eligibility, requirements, and clear step-by-step procedures for filing your amnesty application.
  • Expert Guidance for U.S. Residents: Get insights tailored to the unique situations of Filipino Americans.
  • Deadline Awareness: Ensure you don’t miss the crucial cut-off date for maximum benefit.
